据国家市场监督管理总局3月27日消息,日前,丰田在中国的两家合资企业计划自今年4月1日起召回总计56.02万辆汽车。
据第一财经不完全统计,这是丰田在华发起的第三次超50万辆的大规模召回事件。2012年10月,丰田曾因电动车窗主控开关缺陷发起过一场规模在139.58万辆的召回,涉及丰田旗下凯美瑞、雅力士、汉兰达、卡罗拉等多个品牌。另一起大规模召回则发生在更早的2009年,召回数量为68.83万辆,主要原因也是电动车窗主控开关缺陷。
从本次召回的具体细节来看,召回编号分别为S2026M0036V和S2026M0037V,为企业主动召回行为。
广汽丰田计划召回2021年8月7日至2025年9月22日生产的部分汉兰达汽车,共计317990辆。一汽丰田计划召回2021年7月27日至2026年1月20日生产的部分皇冠陆放汽车,共计242170辆。
据了解,本次召回范围内的车辆,由于第二排座椅靠背调节器的设计不充分,回位弹簧力量过大,导致座椅靠背锁止不良。如果车辆发生碰撞事故,可能无法对乘员起到有效的约束保护作用,增加乘员受伤的风险,存在安全隐患。
广汽丰田汽车和一汽丰田将为召回范围内的车辆免费更换改进后的第二排座椅靠背调节器的回位弹簧,以消除安全隐患。
这也是今年丰田第二次发起召回计划,今年3月,丰田中国计划召回2021年3月2日至2022年9月29日期间生产的部分进口TOYOTA SUPRA 2.0T汽车,共计40辆。召回原因为:由于起动机生产原因,车辆在多次启动后,起动机内部可能发生异常磨损,造成车辆启动困难;极端情况下,可能引发起动机内部短路,局部过热,存在起火风险。
